Besan Sev Ki Barfi

Ingredients
  Saltless sev 2 Cup (32 tbs) (readymade)
  Sugar 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Sliced nuts 1⁄2 Tablespoon
  Raisins 1⁄2 Tablespoon
  Cardamom powder 1 Teaspoon
  Unsweetened khoya 1 Cup (16 tbs) (burnt milk)
  Rose essence 1 Teaspoon
  Saffron 1 Teaspoon
Directions

Add 1/2 cup water to sugar and cook till the syrup is of a two thread consistency.
Add khoya and blend.
Remove from fire.
Add broken sev, nuts, raisins, cardamom powder and essence.
Pour onto a greased plate and cool.
Cut into squares and serve at room temperature.
