Kadhi Pakora

This goes very well served with gramflour dumplings in them - the kadhi here imparts a tangy spicyness to the pakodas. cooking time is including frying pakoraas.
Ingredients
  Buttermilk 6 Cup (96 tbs)
  Water 1 (As required)
  Turmeric powder 1 Teaspoon
  Salt To Taste
  Bengal gram 1 Tablespoon
  Besan 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Green chillies 4 , chopped
  Onion 1 , chopped
  Chilli powder 2 Teaspoon
  Jeera 1 Teaspoon
  Hing 1 Pinch
  Methi leaves 1⁄2 Bunch (50 gm), finely chopped
  Coriander leaves 1⁄2 Bunch (50 gm), finely chopped
  Garlic flakes 3 , finely chopped (For seasoning)
  Chilli 1 , chopped (For seasoning)
  Mustard seeds 1 Teaspoon (For seasoning)
  Saunf 1⁄2 Teaspoon, powdered (For seasoning)
  Cumin seeds 1 Teaspoon (For seasoning)
  Red chilli powder 1 Teaspoon (For seasoning)
  Turmeric powder 1⁄4 Teaspoon (For seasoning)
  Coriander powder 2 Teaspoon (For seasoning)
  Hing 1 Pinch (For seasoning)
Directions

Mix the turmeric, salt and the besan in the buttermilk,
add 2-3 cups of water and bring to a boil on low heat,
stiring conntinuously.Set aside.
Mix all the pakodi ingredients with a little water in a
bowl,to get the consistency of thick batter.
Make small round balls with the batter and deep fry in
oil till golden brown.
Drain oil and add to the buttermilk.
Prepare the seasoning and add to the buttermilk.
Serve hot with plain rice.
