Ingredients
  Cucumber 1 Pound, finely diced (1 In Number)
  Onions 2 , peeled, finely chopped
  Garlic 2 Clove (10 gm), crushed
  Unsweetened natural yogurt 1 Pint
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Freshly ground black pepper 1⁄2 Teaspoon
Directions

A cool, fresh-tasting accompaniment to Indian dishes, Raita can be made from a variety of fresh raw vegetables. Combine all the ingredients and chill for 1 hour before serving.
