I have always heard that curry made with Jackfruit tastes very good but had never tasted it. I like jackfruit just by itself though. I shall surely try this recipe when I find jack fruit here!!

I love this curry. I have also had it made with Breadfruit. First time I ate this was for dinner at the Lake Palace - former hunting lodge of the Maharaja - Periyar Nature Reserve. What an experience!!!!!! Daughter and husband leech attacked, and such an adventure that was trekking around the lake. Saw so many interesting animals including elephants, flaying squirrels, Nilgiri langur and many others. Thank youu for posting this recipe. I bought a couple cans of jackfruit to make this curry- I will have a go at your great sounding recipe. Thanks! Shanti/Mary-Anne
