Hi Sarita. I am just done cooking this one and it looks and tastes truly delicious. I added colorful peppers since I had some in the refrigerator, otherwise the rest of the recipe remains the same.

Paneer is a healthy, protein-rich food. The nutrition value of 100 gms of paneer provides 18.3 gms of protein, 20.8 gms of fat, 2.6 gms of minerals, 1.2 gms of carbohydrates, 265 kcal of energy, 208 mgs of calcium, 138 mg of phosphorous. It contains reasonably good amounts of fat and cholesterol. Firm tofu has a similar texture and consistency so it can be used in place of paneer as a non-dairy substitute. Has anyone made paneer with Fat free milk? Last niht I made Sag Paneer Makhanwala using Desi Brand Paneer but homemade is better, and I am sure it has high fat grams. Shanti/Mary-Anne

That's a wonderful paneer you have up there. Is the paneer you have used the readymade one or did you prepare it at home. I have tried to prepare paneer a couple of times at home, but getting it in neat cubes was a lil difficuly or I can say, i couldn't get it done properly. Can u please share with me, if you know the right way to male paneer at home?
