Broccoli Bhaji

Broccoli is from the cabbage family and is considered to have anti-cancer effects. Broccoli is high in Vitamin C and fiber.
Ingredients
  Broccoli head 1 , washed and cut
  Broccoli 1 , washed and cut
  Onion 1 Medium
  Oil 1 Teaspoon (Leveled)
  Mustard seeds 1 Teaspoon
  Cumin seeds 1 Teaspoon
  Turmeric 1 Pinch
  Asafoetida 1 Teaspoon
  Green chilli 1 , cut into small pieces
  Green chilli 1
  Ginger 1 Inch, thinly sliced
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), crushed
  Salt To Taste
  Cilantro 1 Teaspoon
Directions

Wash and cut broccoli. Cut onion to medium size pieces.
Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, turmeric, green chilli,asafoetida. Wait till the seeds splutter. Add sliced ginger, crushed garlic. Then add onion, cook for 1-2 min. Add broccoli florets. Mix well and cover. Cook on low flame. No need to add any water.
After the broccoli florets are cooked (but still crisp) add salt to taste.
Garnish with cilantro. Serve with rice or roti.
