|Milk||6 Cup (96 tbs)|
|Ground sugar||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Cardamom powder||1 Teaspoon|
|Saffron||1⁄2 Teaspoon, soaked in a little milk|
|Fruits||1 Cup (16 tbs), cut into small pieces (Pineapple, Apple, Chikoo)|
Boil the milk and cool it.
Add yoghurt, mix well and leave to set for 6 to 8 hours.
When the curd is set put it in a muslin square the size of a small towel, keeping the cloth in a shallow vessel.
Tie up the four corners and hang it up, allowing the whey to drain out completely.
When the whey is drained off, remove the cloth and take out the curd.
Pass the curd through a sieve with the sugar.
Add cardamom powder and saffron and beat well.
Add the fruit pieces.
Mix and chill.
Serve with hot puris.
Instead of fresh fruits, dry fruits can also be used.
