Ingredients
  Kabuli chana 250 Gram
  Soda bicarbonate 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Potatoes 100 Gram, boiled (Small)
  Green chilies 12 (Small)
  Cinnamon pieces 2
  Pepper 3⁄4 Teaspoon
  Cloves 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Cardamom 4 Large
  Chili powder 1 Teaspoon
  Turmeric powder 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Tomato slices 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Onion rings 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Ghee/Vanaspati 3 Tablespoon
  Ginger 2 Tablespoon, sliced
  Onion 2 , grated
  Coriander seeds 1 Tablespoon
  Cumin seeds 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Kokam 4
  Salt To Taste
  Lemon wedges 2
Directions

Wash and soak chana overnight in water with Soda-bicarb.
Boil chana until tender.
Drain.
Slit chillies from sides, remove seeds and apply a little salt.
Heat ghee in a pan and fry onion till light brown.
Add ground masala and fry till ghee comes on top.
Sprinkle some water if necessary.
Add cooked chana.
Add half a cup of water in which chana were cooked.
Simmer for ten minutes.
Add ginger, chillies and potatoes (cut into two).
