Spicy Moong Dal Waffles

Ingredients
  Moong dal with skin 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Chopped green chilies 3
  Chopped fenugreek leaves 2 Tablespoon (Methi)
  Gram flour 2 Teaspoon (Besan)
  Asafoetida 1 Pinch (Hing)
  Soda bicarbonate 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Sugar 2 Pinch
  Salt To Taste
Directions

1. Soak the moong dal in water for 3 to 4 hours. Then wash it very well.
2. Blend the soaked dal in a blender with the green chillies and a little water.
3. Add the fenugreek leaves, gram flour (besan), asafoetida, soda bi-carbonate, sugar and salt and mix well.
4. Pour a little batter at a time in a preheated waffle iron and cook until it gets crisp. Repeat for the remaining batter.
