Spicy Moong Dal Waffles
|Moong dal with skin||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Chopped green chilies||3|
|Chopped fenugreek leaves||2 Tablespoon (Methi)|
|Gram flour||2 Teaspoon (Besan)|
|Asafoetida||1 Pinch (Hing)|
|Soda bicarbonate||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
1. Soak the moong dal in water for 3 to 4 hours. Then wash it very well.
2. Blend the soaked dal in a blender with the green chillies and a little water.
3. Add the fenugreek leaves, gram flour (besan), asafoetida, soda bi-carbonate, sugar and salt and mix well.
4. Pour a little batter at a time in a preheated waffle iron and cook until it gets crisp. Repeat for the remaining batter.
