Spicy Shahi Paneer

Ingredients
  Paneer 250 Gram, cut into fingers (Cottage Cheese)
  Ghee 3 Tablespoon
  Onion 1 , chopped
  Ginger piece 1⁄2 Inch, chopped
  Green chili 1 , chopped
  Tomatoes 4 Large, chopped
  Brown cardamom 2 , crushed (Moti Illaichi)
  Beaten curd 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Red chili powder 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Garam masala 1⁄2 Teaspoon, mixed spices
  Tomato sauce 1 Tablespoon
  Milk/Thin cream 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
Directions

1. Heat 2 tbsp of ghee. Add onion, ginger, green chilli and moti illaichi.
2. Cook until onion turns light brown.
3. Add tomatoes. Cook, covered, on low flame for 7-8 minutes.
4. Add curd. Cook for 3-4 minutes. Remove from fire.
5. Grind to a puree with 1/2 cup water in a liquidizer.
6 Strain the puree. Cook the tomato puree in 1 tbsp ghee for 5-7 minutes on low flame.
7. Add salt, chilli powder, pepper, garam masala and tomato sauce. Add enough water to get a thick gravy.
8. Boil. Keep on low flame for 5-7 minutes. Remove from fire.
9. At the time of serving, heat gravy and add paneer pieces.
10. Add cream or milk.
