Paneer Matar

Ingredients
  Onions 3 , chopped
  Butter/Ghee 1 Ounce
  Green chili 1 , finely chopped
  Peppercorns 10 , crushed
  Fresh root ginger piece 1 Inch, finely chopped
  Garlic 2 Clove (10 gm), crushed
  Ground turmeric 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Tomatoes 2 , skinned and mashed
  Paneer cubes 8
  Vegetable stock/Water 1⁄2 Pint (Bouillon)
  Shelled peas 1 Pound (3 Cups)
  Double cream 3 Tablespoon
  Salt To Taste
  Chili powder 1⁄4 Teaspoon
Directions

Fry the onions in the butter or ghee until golden brown.
Mix the chilli, peppercorns, ginger, garlic and turmeric to a paste, then add to the onions.
Cook for 2 minutes, stirring in a few drops of water.
Add the tomatoes, then reduce the heat and add the fried paneer.
Stir in the stock or water and the peas.
Simmer until the peas are cooked.
Then stir in the cream, salt to taste, and the chilli powder.
