Shrimp Pilau St Augustine

|Diced fat salt pork||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Onion||1 Large, finely cut|
|Green pepper||1 , finely cut|
|Cooked shrimps||1 Pound|
|Rice||1 Cup (16 tbs), cooked and hot|
Fry salt pork until well browned and crisp.
Remove pork and cook onion and pepper in the fat.
Add, with pork and shrimps, to rice.
Season to taste and simmer for about 10 minutes.
