Chiwda recipes are very famous in India. Chiwda is traditionally prepared as snacks in Indian households. There are many recipes for chiwda snack. Watch this video to learn easy and quick method of chiwda preparation.
Ingredients
  Cooking oil 5 Tablespoon
  Black mustard seeds 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Chickpeas 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), soaked
  Peanuts 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Dried red chili 5
  Turmeric 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Asafoetida 1 Pinch
  Curry leaves 15
  Rice flakes 2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs), thick
Directions

MAKING
1. In a wok, heat oil, add black mustard seeds, chickpeas and peanuts, fry until the peanuts are cooked.
2. Add turmeric, red chili, asafoetida and curry leaves, saute for another 1 minute.
3. Add rice flakes, cook until the rice flakes are crisp.

SERVING
4. Serve as a snack with tea or coffee.

TIP
For best taste use very fine variety of rice flakes.
