4 (Around 4 Inch Pieces)
Fresh mint leaves
2 Tablespoon (Kothmir)
FRY THE INGREDIENTS: Take about 3 to 4 tablespoons of cooking oil, heat, add -in order- mustard seeds, jeera, (optionlly curry leaves ), green chillies,tamarind peices, chana dall, moong dall and fry till the chana dall becomes golden brown take off the stove and wait to cool
GRIND THE CHUTNEY: Add the fried contents to the mixie, add the mint leaves, the cilantro, coconut powder, salt and about 100 ml of water and grind .. then add some more water depending upon the consistency you like and finish the grinding to make a the chutney ..
SERVE: With idlis, dosa, bhajji, upma, venpongal .. anything .. it is an excellent chutney
Curry leaves and kothmir are optional .. mint leaves ARE AVAILABLE IN USA ALSO ( i have tried it there also )
