Gojju Making Made Easier

Gojju is a preparation in which the vegetables are cooked in tamarind juice .. it is very spicy and is the main dish sometimes when you dont want to just make sambhar rice etc... In this video I have shown how to make it with capsicum, but the same procedure would work for ladies's finger, and onion ..
Ingredients
  Tamarind 25 Gram
  Jaggery 25 Gram
  Water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Cooking oil 6 Tablespoon
  Black mustard seeds 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Hing 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Haldi 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Curry leaves 10
  Capsicum 4 , chopped
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Rasam powder 2 Teaspoon
Directions

GETTING READY
1. In a small vessel, pour water, add jagerry and tamarind, heat for few minutes and let the tamarind soak for some time.

MAKING
2. In a medium wok, heat oil, add mustard seeds, hing, turmeric powder and curry leaves.
3. When the mustard seeds start spluttering, add capsicum, cook on low flame until capsicums are cooked. Pour the tamarind solution, boil to get desired consistency, and then add salt and rasam powder.

SERVING
4. Serve hot with rice and ghee or chapatis.
