|Sifted all purpose flour||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Grated processed cheese||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Water||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
Cut shortening into flour and salt.
Stir in water to make soft dough.
Turn out on floured surface and knead for about 10 minutes.
Let rest 10 minutes.
Roll very thin on lightly floured surface to a 16xl0-inch rectangle.
Cut in 2 1/2-inch circles.
Fry in deep hot fat (385°) till puffed and golden brown, 2 to 3 minutes, turning once.
Drain on paper towels.
