Goan Fish Curry
|Onions||2 , chopped|
|Garlic paste||1 Teaspoon|
|Coconut milk||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Mustard seeds||1 Tablespoon|
|Chilli powder||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Coriander powder||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
Cut pomfret in vertical pieces and keep aside.
Sauté onion and garlic paste with chilli powder, turmeric powder and coriander powder.
When this is done, add finely chopped raw mango and then coconut milk.
Simmer till the gravy is done.
Now add the pomfret. Cook for about 5 minutes or till the fish is done.
Fry the curry leaves and mustard seeds in a little oil and season the curry.
Best served with plain rice.
