The traditional sarson ka saag recipe brought especially for you. Tips on how to make an authentic Indian saag that is absolutely delicious. It is mustard leaves and green chillies cooked together to the right consistency and flavor. Enjoy the dish that is an integral part of the rich Indian Punjabi cuisine.
Ingredients
  Mustard leaves 1 Kilogram
  Spinach 200 Gram
  Mooli ka patha 50 Gram
  Bathua 150 Gram
  Green chillies 10 Gram
  Salt 10 Gram
  Ginger 60 Gram
  Maki ka atta 30 Gram
  Ghee 150 Gram
  Red chilli powder 5 Gram
  Garlic 25 Gram
  White butter 100 Gram
Directions

Wash ,pick dry,blanch and make paste of all the green leaves.
Take ghee add roughly chopped ginger and garlic ,slit green chilies and whole red chillies
Add makki ka atta and sauté
Add the puree of the green leaves and sauté ,incorporating the white butter.
Adjust seasoning
Serve with jaggery ,makkai ke roti and lots of white fresh butter

this is not saag.....you have to use saag leaves(rapini) to make saag....the receipe above is using palak(spinach).....thus its palak
