|Garam masala||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
Wash and pressurecook dal till soft. Make smooth paste of dal.
Cut onion, tomato, ginger, garlic and green chilies into small pieces.
Put 1tsp of oil/ghee in a kadai (frying pan). Put the cut garlic, onion, ginger, green chilies and lastly tomato one by one and fry till onion becomes translucent.
Then add boiled dal, haldi powder, garam masala, and salt to taste. Cover and cook on a low flame for 10 minutes.
Finally season with jeeraand garnish with cut coriander leaves.
