Masala Vada

These are the fritters made with lentils and deep fried.
Ingredients
  Green gram 2 Cup (32 tbs) (split mung daal with husk)
  Urad dal 3 Tablespoon
  Ginger garlic paste 1 Teaspoon
  Cumin seeds 1 Teaspoon (jeera)
  Oregano seeds 1⁄2 Teaspoon (ajwain)
  Red chilli powder 1 Teaspoon
  Coriander powder 1 Teaspoon
  Onion 1 , finely chopped
  Green chilies 5 , finely chopped
  Green onion 2 , finely chopped
  Curry leaves 5 , finely chopped
  Coriander 1 Tablespoon, finely chopped
  Salt To Taste
  Oil 2 Cup (32 tbs) (For frying)
Directions

Soak both the dals together in water for about 2to 3 hours.Drain water from the dal .
coarsely grind the daals in blender or food processer.
Add all the ingredients except oil and mix it well.
Heat oil in deep dish pan or kadhai.
make oval shape from the grinded paste and fry it till they are golden brown and cooked.
Drain excess oil of the vadas by keeping them in kitchen paper towel.
serve hot.
