Three Dal Delight

Ingredients
  Split green gram dal with skin 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (dhuli moong dal)
  Bengal gram dal 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (channa dal)
  Arhar dal 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (red gram dal)
  Tomatoes 2 , finely chopped
  Mustard 1⁄2 Teaspoon (rai)
  Jeera 1⁄2 Teaspoon (cumin seeds)
  Asafoetida 1⁄2 Teaspoon (hing)
  Turmeric powder 3⁄4 Teaspoon (haldi)
  Ginger paste 1 Teaspoon
  Green chili 1 , chopped
  Red chili powder 1 Teaspoon
  Coriander powder 1 Teaspoon (dhaniya powder)
  Oil 3 Teaspoon
  Salt/To taste To Taste
  Lime juice 2 Teaspoon
  Fresh coriander 1 Tablespoon (For garnishing)
Directions

Soak the dals together for an hour and strain. Heat the oil in a pressure cooker. Add the mustard and cumin seeds and when they pop, add the curry leaves and hing. Stir in the ginger paste and the minced green chili along with turmeric. Add the tomatoes and the dhaniya and red chili powders.

Finally, add the strained dals with 4 cups water and salt. Pressurecook the dal until two to three whistles. When the pressure drops, add the lemon juice. Garnish with coriander leaves
