Fragrant Basmati Rice

Ingredients
  Basmati rice 1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Cardamom 1⁄4 Teaspoon, ground
  Turmeric 1⁄4 Teaspoon, ground
  Red pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon, ground
  Cinnamon 1⁄8 Teaspoon, ground
  Saffron 1 Dash
  Water 2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)
Directions

Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan.
Bring to a boil, and stir.
Cover, reduce heat, and simmer 20 minutes.
Remove from heat, and let rice stand 5 minutes.
