Indian Chilli Paneer

An innovative recipe with the traditional paneer. The paneer chilli recipe is a combination of the best of Indian and Chinese cooking styles. A recipe video of cottage cheese, capsicum and onion stir fried in sauce for a delicious mouth watering dish.
Ingredients
  Paneer 500 Gram (Cottage Cheese)
  Egg 1 , beaten
  Vegetable oil 2 Teaspoon
  Capsicum 2
  Spring onion 1
  Ginger garlic paste 50 Gram
  Red chili paste 1 Teaspoon
  Ajinomoto 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Soya sauce 1 Tablespoon
  Vinegar 1 Teaspoon (White)
  Tomato sauce 4 Teaspoon
  Salt To Taste
  Green chili sauce 1 Tablespoon
  Corn starch 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Ginger 5 Gram
Directions

GETTING READY
1. Cut capsicum into small pieces. Take it in a bowl.
2. Dice the onions, separate pieces and add it to the bowl.
3. Dice paneer or cottage cheese and keep it aside in a separate bowl.
4. Peel and chop ginger into julienne and keep it aside in a separate bowl.

MAKING
5. In a frying pan, heat oil.
6. Meanwhile, prepare corn flour batter. Take corn flour and add a pinch of salt, water and egg beater. Stir it to make a consistent paste to hold the paneer easily.
7. Dip paneer in batter and deep fry it till each piece of paneer turns golden brown.
8. Take a bigger frying pan. Heat vegetable oil. Add ginger-garlic paste and stir it.
9. Add onions and capsicum. Stir it well for 2-3 minutes.
10. Add ajinomoto, salt, vinegar and chilli paste. Mix well.
11. Add fried paneer, soya sauce, chilli sauce and tomato sauce. Stir it for another 2-3 minutes.
12. Add some chopped ginger. Mix it well.

SERVING
13. Serve Indian Chilli Paneer garnished with chopped ginger.

I don't use ajinomotto for health reasons but the recipe is pretty good! i could never make a satisfactory chili paneer.. so i will try this :)

WoooW ! My mouth is already watering at the sight of this Paneer Chilli ! I'd like to try it with unfried paneer though. What say ? yes, even i agree with veg foodie about ajinomoto, but without that will it get its trademark chinese flavor ?
