|Basmati rice||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Water||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Chopped mixed vegetables||2 Cup (32 tbs) (I Used Potatoes, Carrots, Peas, Green Beans And Bell Peppers)|
1.Wash and soak the rice in water for about 30 minutes.
2.Take a heavy bottomed pan and heat oil/ghee in it. Add all the whole spices and stir for a minute so that their flavour is released in the oil.
3.Now add all your vegetables and stir fry them for about 2 minutes and add the salt.
4.Add the rice and water, cover and simmer on low heat until all the water has evaporated and the rice is done.
5.Garnish with green chillies.
Serve with raita, pickle or any other curry of your choice.
