A typical gujarati dinner is brought to you by ONEMAN SHOW. The video shows how to make Khichdi, kadhee and curried spinach in gujarati style.
Ingredients
For khichdi
  Basmati rice 1 Cup (16 tbs), soaked
  Pigeon peas 1 Cup (16 tbs), soaked
  Water 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Turmeric 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Oil 2 Tablespoon
  Mustard seeds 1⁄2 Teaspoon
For bhaaji
  Spinach 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Garlic 1 Teaspoon
  Oil 2 Teaspoon
  Indian curry mix 1 Teaspoon
For salad
  Tomatoes 1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped
  White onion 1⁄2 , chopped finely
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Garlic chutney 1 Teaspoon
  Pepperoncini 1 Teaspoon
  Cilantro 1⁄6 Cup (2.67 tbs), chopped finely
For kadhi
  Yogurt 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Water 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Flour 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Garlic chutney 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Butter/Oil 1 Tablespoon
  Garlic 1 Teaspoon, chopped finely
  Chili pepper 1 Teaspoon, chopped finely
  Ginger 1 Teaspoon, chopped finely
  Clove 4
  Cinnamon 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Cumin seeds 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Cilantro 1⁄8 Cup (2 tbs), chopped
Other ingredient
  Papad 4
Directions

FOR KICHDI
GETTING READY
1. In two separate bowls, soak rice and dal in water.

MAKING
2. In a pot, pour water and add dal. Add turmeric powder, salt and bring to a boil. Add basmati rice and stir well. Cook for 15-20 minutes.
3. In a small pan, heat oil. Add mustard seeds and let them pop up. Pour it over the kichdi.

SERVING
4. Serve the warm Kichdi with papad and kadhi.

FOR SPINACH BHAAJI
MAKING
1. In a pan, heat oil. Add spinach, garlic and curry mix. Sauté well and transfer to a bowl.

SERVING
2. Serve the Spinach Bhaaji with Kichdi and papad.

FOR SALAD
MAKING
1. In a bowl, combine tomato, onion, salt, garlic chutney, oil and pepperoni. Sprinkle cilantro on top.

SERVING
2. Serve the Tomato Salad with kichdi and kadhi.

FOR KADHI
MAKING
1. In a bowl, add yogurt, water, salt, flour and garlic chutney. Blend using an electric hand blender until smooth.
2. In a pan, melt butter. Add garlic, chili pepper, ginger, clove, cinnamon and cumin seeds. Sauté well.
3. Pour yogurt mix into the pan. Simmer for 2 minutes.
4. Transfer the kadhi to a bowl, garnish with cilantro.

SERVING
5. Serve the Kadhi with kichadi and papad.

FOR PAPAD
MAKING
1. Place the papad directly over flame, and flip occasionally using a pair of tongs until done.

SERVING
2. Serve the Papad with kichdi and kadhi
