How To Make Pickles From Green Chilies

In this video, the chef shows how to make easy Indian pickles.
Ingredients
For ginger pickle
  Fresh ginger 72 Gram (cleaned and sliced)
  Salt 8 Gram
  Lemon juice 15 Gram
  Turmeric powder 5 Gram
For methia mix
  Fenugreek 200 Gram, crushed
  Mustard 200 Gram, crushed
  Red cayenne pepper powder 200 Gram
  Cumin powder 100 Gram
  Coriander powder 100 Gram
  Turmeric powder 100 Gram
For green chili pickle
  Green chili/Carrot 72 Gram
  Seasoning mix 15 Gram
  Vegetable oil 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
Directions

FOR GINGER PICKLE
MAKING
1. In a jar, add fresh ginger, salt, lemon juice and turmeric powder. Mix well.
2. Cover the jar with lid and store for 2-4 days.

SERVING
3. Serve the Ginger Pickle with your favorite dishes.

FOR INDIAN METHIA MIX
MAKING
1. In a coffee grinder, add fenugreek, mustard, red cayenne pepper powder, cumin powder, coriander powder and turmeric powder.
2. Crush well and transfer to a container. Add salt before use.

SERVING
3. Serve the Methia mix as a dip or use to make pickles.

FOR GREEN CHILI PICKLE
MAKING
1. In a jar, add green chilies, seasoning mix, salt and lemon juice. Mix well and cover the jar with vegetable oil.
2. Cover the jar with lid and store for 2-4 days.

SERVING
3. Serve the Green Chili Pickle with sweet potatoes or vegetables.
