This Indian vegetarian recipe is prepared with Indian homemade cheese and green peas. It is a very popular dish from India with delicious taste.
1 , finely chopped
1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (Fresh / Frozen)
1 1⁄2 , finely chopped
125 Gram, cubed and soaked in warm water (1/2 Pack)
Red chili powder
Garam masala powder
Heat oil in the skillet and splutter the cumin seeds. Saute the onions to golden brown. You may add salt to quicken the process. Add some chopped tomatoes to the onions and cook thoroughly till they blend well. At this point, add spices like red chili powder, turmeric powder and little more salt, if required. Mix all nicely and add hot water. Next add the peas and cook for 3-4 mins. Drain the paneer and add to the skillet. Mix all together. Add little more water and cook through. Garnish with garam-masala powder and serve with rice or pita bread.
