In Hindi, which is a common language of North India, potato is known as Aloo and pea is called Matar. Hence, this is known as Aloo Matar Sabji or Potato peas mix vegetable. Aloo Matar is an everyday food during the season of pea. Aloo Gobi can be eaten during lunch, dinner or break-fast. Phool Gobi Aloo fry goes well with Roti or Chapati, rice, Paratha, and Puri. Ingredients
  Potato 250 Gram
  Peas 500 Gram (Use Whole Pods)
  Green chili 1
  Chopped cilantro 1 Tablespoon
  Coriander powder 1⁄2 Tablespoon (Can Be Purchased At Regular Indian Grocery Stores)
  Turmeric powder 1⁄2 Tablespoon (Can Be Purchased At Regular Indian Grocery Stores)
  Vegetable oil/Mustard oil 2 Tablespoon
  Salt To Taste
Directions

Step 1: Wash and then peel off the potato skin and pea pods

Step 2: Cut the potatoes into small pieces

Step 3: Heat the wok and add one teaspoon of vegetable oil

Step 4: Cut the green chilli and put it in the heated pot and fry for 15 seconds

Step 5: Mix the peas in the wok and stir fry on medium flame for two minutes

Step 6: Add chopped potatoes into the wok

Step 7: Add a small amount of water (50ml)

Step 8: Add coriander powder and turmeric powder

Step 9: Add salt to taste and then stir to mix properly and close the lid

Step 10: After 10 minutes, open the lid

Step 11: Your Aloo Matar Sabji is ready to serve

Step 12: Garnish it with cilantro
