Indian Lamb Curry

Ingredients
  Chopped onion 2 Small
  Coconut powder 1 Tablespoon
  Coriander leaves 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Coriander powder 2 Tablespoon
  Cumin 1 Teaspoon
  Cumin powder 1 Tablespoon
  Garlic – ginger paste 1 Tablespoon
  Green chilies 2
  Lamb 500 Gram
  Oil 1 Tablespoon
  Pepper powder 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Red chili powder 1 Teaspoon
  Salt To Taste
  Turmeric 1 Pinch
  Whole garam masala 3 (Cardamom / Clove / Cinnamon)
Directions

MAKING
1. For preparing the lamb curry, firstly add oil to the pan and when it gets hot add whole spices like cardamoms, cloves, cinnamon and bay leaves.
2. Add cumin seeds and chopped onions and cook till they are slightly brown at the edges. '
3. Add salt to taste, turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste and sauté well.
4. When the raw flavors are gone add the cleaned and washed lamb pieces and mix all the ingredients thoroughly well and cook.
5. Add chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder and add little water and mix. Cover the pan with lid and cook for 20 to 30 minutes till the lamb is 90% cooked.

6. Add green chilli, coconut powder and pepper powder and cook for another 10 minutes till the sauce is thickened.
SERVING
7. Serve hot with roti, naan or rice.

Its simple and tasty but couldnt get the idea of the measurement used here that says 1/4 th bottle coriander leaves :)
