Split Moong Dal Fritters Preparation Part 1

This is the first step towards making delicious snack, dal bhajiya.
Ingredients
  Split moong dal 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs), soaked for 3 to 4 hours
  Green chili 1 , chopped finely
  Ginger 1 Teaspoon, chopped finely
  Garlic 2 Teaspoon, chopped finely
  Cumin seeds 1 Teaspoon
  Onion 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped finely
  Coriander leaves 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Salt To Taste
  Red chili powder To Taste
  Oil 1 Cup (16 tbs) (For deep frying)
Directions

MAKING
1. In a food processor jar, place ginger, garlic, green chili, cumin and split moong dal, blend to a paste.
2. Add coriander leaves, onion, salt, red chili powder, combine well.
3. In a skillet, heat oil on medium heat, make 3 inch circles of the prepared mixture and fry for both sides until it turns golden brown.Transfer to a paper towel.

SERVING
4. Serve hot with green chutney and bread slices.
