Spicy Spinach Balls

Ingredients
  Lean ground turkey breast/96% lean ground beef 8 Ounce
  Dried italian seasoning 1 Teaspoon
  Fennel seeds 1 Teaspoon (Whole)
  Crushed garlic 1 Teaspoon
  Crushed red pepper 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Frozen chopped spinach 10 Ounce, thawed and squeezed dry (1 Package)
  Cooked brown rice/Bulgar wheat 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Finely chopped onion 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Grated nonfat parmesan cheese/Reduced fat parmesan cheese 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Egg whites 2
  Fat free marinara sauce 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
Directions

1. Combine the ground turkey or beef and the herbs and spices in a medium-sized bowl, and mix thoroughly. Set aside for 15 minutes. Add the remaining spinach ball ingredients, and mix well.
2. Coat a baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray. Shape the spinach mixture into 32 (1-inch) balls, and place them on the baking sheet. Bake at 350°F for about 25 minutes, or until browned.
3. Place the marinara sauce in a small saucepan, and simmer over medium-low heat just until hot. Transfer the sauce to a small bowl.
