Basmati Rice With Yogurt
|Onion||1 Medium, chopped|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), minced|
|Butter||30 Milliliter (2 Tablespoon)|
|Water||415 Milliliter (1 3/4 Cup)|
|Salt||3⁄4 Teaspoon (4 Milliliter)|
|Basmati rice||240 Milliliter (1 Cup)|
|Dried mint||1 Teaspoon (5 Milliliter)|
|Chopped parsley||60 Milliliter (1/4 Cup)|
|Green onions||60 Milliliter, chopped (1/4 Cup)|
|Plain non-fat yogurt||120 Milliliter (1/2 Cup)|
In saucepan on low heat sautÃ© onion and garlic in butter until soft.
Add water and salt and bring to a boil.
Add rice, lower heat and simmer for 15 minutes or until all the water has been absorbed.
Remove from heat.
Add mint, parsley, green onions and yogurt: and mix with rice.
