Even if you are a beginner at cooking, you can try the easy Aloo Phool Gobi Recipe and surprise your family and friends. The Aloo Phoo Gobi is a popular North Indian dish. In Hindi, which is a common language of North India, potato is known as Aloo and cauliflower is called Phool Gobi. Hence, this is known as Aloo Phool Gobi Sabji or Cauliflower Potato Fry. Aloo Gobi is an everyday food during the season of cauliflower, so I have used controlled amount of spices and vegetable oil to make it nutritious and healthy. Aloo Gobi can be eaten during lunch, dinner or break-fast. Phool Gobi Aloo fry goes well with Roti or Chapati, rice, Paratha, and Puri.   Vegetable oil/Mustard oil 3 Tablespoon
  Potato 200 Gram
  Cauliflower 1 Small
  Coriander leaves 1 Tablespoon (For Garnish)
  Green chilies 2
  Turmeric powder 1 Teaspoon
  Coriander powder 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Spice mix powder 1⁄2 Teaspoon (Sabji Masala Powder)
  Salt To Taste

Step1. Wash, Scrub and Dice the potatoes into small pieces

Step2. Cut the leaves off the cauliflower, cut out the core and cut it into florets

Step3. Add 2 or 3 big tablespoon oil to caldron and heat it on medium flame for 1-2

Step4. Now add cut red chili first and after 15 seconds add curry leaves and fry to brown

Step5. Add florets of cauliflower and fry well for 2-4 minutes

Step6. Mix cut green chili according to taste and stir for 1 min

Step7. Add diced potato to the cauldron and fry for 2 minutes

Step8. Add 1 and 1/2 teaspoon of coriander powder, 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder, salt
to taste, 1/2 teaspoon of Powdered Spice Mix (optional) and fry it on medium
flame for 3-5 minutes.

Step9. Slow the flame and mix 100ml of water close the lid.

Step10.Open the lid after 10-12 minutes, now it is ready

Step11.Take out and serve it in serving plate or bowl

Step12.Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot
