Mango Lassi

Mango Lassi or Mango Shake is a famous drink served in Indian Restaurants all over the world. In India you can also buy Mango Shake at local juice shop - You will find a juice shop in almost every market.
Ingredients
  Mango slices 3 , peeled and pitted
  Yogurt 4 Tablespoon
  Honey 1 Teaspoon
  Salt 1 Pinch
  Ice 2 , crushed
Directions

MAKING
1 In a blender jar, combine all the ingredients.
2 You can add a pinch of salt (optional) to enhance the flavor.
3 Blend all the ingredients for a minute or until smooth.
4 If the lassi is too thick you can dilute it by adding some water or milk.
5 Pour the lassi into serving glasses.

SERVING
6 Serve chilled.

I just bought a mango lassi from an Indian chaat house - it was very good and filling. While drinking it I wondered how does one make mango lassi- now I can make it for myself and family. Thanks for sharing =)

Thank you so much! I always wondered why I needed more sweetener--I did not dilute the yogurt with the crushed ice. I will now spread my yogurt and mangos out farther.

thanks for the video although this is in no way vegan. dairy and honey are not vegan, they are vegetarian. cheers!

I have had mango lassi from the typical punjabi dhabbas and I feel that the choice of honey for sugar has been a wise decision, for it gives the lassi a truely awesome flavor and yes, improves its consistency too!
