|Sugar||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Milk||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Peel and grate the carrots; boil them in a little water and mash them.
Melt the ghee on a moderate fire, put in the carrots and keep stirring.
The carrots will first emit water.
When it dries add milk, sugar and shelled cardamoms.
When dry put in cardamom pods.
After stirring briskly for about six or seven minutes, remove from the fire.
