Laddu Ki Kheer
|Full cream milk||1 Kilogram|
|Green cardamoms||4 , seeds removed and crushed to powder|
|Boondi laddoo||8 (At Room Temperature)|
|Almonds||15 , cut into thin slices and toasted|
|Pista||12 , blanched and sliced|
|Saffron||1⁄4 Teaspoon, soaked in 1 teaspoon warm water|
|Warm water||1 Teaspoon|
|Pomegranate seeds||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (Fresh Kernels)|
Boil 1 kg milk, for about 30 minutes till it is reduced to almost half the quantity.
Add chhoti illaichi and keep in the refrigerator to chill.
At serving time, crumble 6-8 boondi laddos and add to the kheer to get the desired consistency.
Add half of the toasted almonds.
Decorate with blanched pistas and almonds.
Dot with kesar and anar ke dane.
