Koat Pitha, also known as banana Pitha is my favorite Assamese snack ! I indulge in this deep fried oil fritter treat occasionally and recommend that you do too! Feel free to share your views about this Koat Pitha with me !
Ingredients
  Mashed ripe bananas 6
  Sieved rice flour 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Grated jaggery 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Oil/Vanaspati 250 Gram
Directions

Mix the jaggery and the mashed bananas properly.
Add the sieved rice flour slowly into the mixture.
Fry the batter slowly in hot oil, keeping it on a medium flame.
When the pithas have turned golden brown, drain them on brown paper and serve.
