|Gram flour||4 Tablespoon (Chana Dal Flour)|
|Chili powder||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Soda bicarbonate||1 Pinch|
|Turmeric powder||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
Make a thick batter by mixing all the ingredients with a little water.
Deep fry, putting in a teaspoon of batter at a time.
This is the basic recipe.
You can coat sliced potatoes and other vegetables with the batter and fry them; or mix chopped onions and green chillies with the batter, and fry them, dropping a teaspoonful at a time into hot oil or ghee.
