Red Beans And Rice
|Onion||1 , chopped|
|Green pepper||2 Teaspoon, chopped|
|Fresh mushrooms||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped|
|Celery stalks||2 , chopped|
|Kidney beans||2 Cup (32 tbs), cooked|
|Lean ham||8 Ounce, chopped (To Taste)|
|Seasoning||To Taste (Without Salt)|
|Cooked brown rice||4 Cup (64 tbs)|
1. Saute onion, green pepper, mushrooms, and celery.
2. Combine all ingredients, except rice, and cook until tender. Adjust consistency with water or bouillon, if necessary.
3. Remove 1 cup beans and blend in blender. Return to bean mixture and stir until liquid is thickened.
