Gajjar Ka Halwa
|Grated carrots||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Milk||2 Cup (32 tbs) (Skimmed Or Whole)|
|Sultanas||2 Tablespoon (Kismis)|
|Desi ghee||1 Tablespoon (Clarified Butter)|
|Vanilla essence||1 Teaspoon|
|Crushed cardamom||1 Pinch (Good Pinch)|
|Thinly sliced blanched pistachios||1 Tablespoon|
|Thinly sliced blanched almonds||1 Tablespoon|
Microwave carrots, milk, sugar and kismis in a large deep bowl for 3 minutes.
Then stir and microwave on medium 50% power for 40 minutes stirring several times in between until the milk dries up.
Stir in ghee and microwave again for 5 minutes, stirring in between.
Cool and mix in vanilla essence, cardamoms and 1 tbsp of the nuts.
Sprinkle the remaining nuts on top.
