A delicious sweet which can be served on any special occasion.
Almond meal/Almond flour | 1 1/2 Cup (24 tbs) | |
Powdered sugar | 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) | |
Saffron strands | 5 , crushed | |
Yellow food color | 1 Pinch (Optional) | |
Luke warm water | 1 Tablespoon (((as needed))) | |
Silver leaf | 1 (Optional) | |
Milk powder | 2 Tablespoon | |
Ghee/Oil | 1 Tablespoon (((For greasing))) |
MAKING
In a shallow bowl, add in almond meal, yellow food color and crushed saffron.
Add in the sugar and milk powder; mix well and warm in the microwave for 30 seconds.
Gradually add in 1 teaspoon of water at a time and knead with hands to make soft dough.
Grease with ghee and knead a few minutes.
Place the dough over the wax paper and roll with a rolling pin. Slice according to your preference.
SERVING
Garnish with silver leaf and serve.
