Bread Pulao, or Bread Upma.. Homely Indian Lunch Box recipe. Bread Pulao is a recipe which has been a special part of the lunch box, a perfect recipe for you to pack in your lil one's lunch box or enjoy anytime as a snack and relish the memories!

Ingredients

Bread slices 6 , chopped into 1 inch pieces
Onions 2
Tomatoes 2
Green chili 1
Coriander 2 Tablespoon
Oil 1 Tablespoon
Tomato ketchup/Tomato puree 2 Tablespoon
Salt To Taste
Sugar 1 Teaspoon
Red chili powder 1/2 Teaspoon
Mustard seeds 1/2 Teaspoon

Directions

MAKING

1. Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds and let them splatter.

2. Drop in green chilies and onions and saute well.

3. Throw in tomatoes and season it with salt. Continue to cook until everything is well cooked.

4. Add coriander, red chili powder and tomato puree. Mix it well.

5. Season with sugar, mix and then add the bread cubes to the pan. Stir to mix everything well.

 

SERVING

6. Transfer to a serving dish, garnish with chopped coriander and serve.
