Authentic recipe for Vindaloo or Vindalho Paste

Make this luscious and authentic Vindaloo or Vindalho paste, perfect for chicken, pork or seafood. This is a Goan specialty with Portuguese Influence.

Ingredients

Dry ingredients
Kashmiri chillies 20 , deseeded
Turmeric 1/2 Teaspoon
Cinnamon stick 1 Inch
Cloves 6
Cumin seeds 1 Teaspoon
Black mustard seeds 1/4 Teaspoon
Peppercorns 10
Wet ingredients
Garlic cloves 6
Ginger peice 1 Inch
Goa vinegar/Any red wine vinegar 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Water To Taste ((As required))

Directions

MAKING

First grind the chillies, then add the other dry ingredients and remove from the food processor.

Add the wet ingredients and grind.

Return the dry ingredients to the wet, add water as required and grind

SERVING

Use to make aromatic vindaloo recipe.
