Chana dal | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Chopped onions | 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) , roughly chopped | |
Ginger | 1 Inch , crushed | |
Garlic clove | 3 , crushed | |
Green chili | 2 , crushed | |
Coriander | 1/2 Teaspoon , chopped | |
Rice flour | 2 Tablespoon | |
Salt | To Taste | |
Fennel seeds | 1 Teaspoon | |
Red chili powder | To Taste | |
Red chili flakes | 1 Tablespoon | |
Oil | 2 Cup (32 tbs) (((For Deep Frying))) |
GETTING READY
1. Soak Chana Dal/Split Bengal Gram for few hours, grind without any water into coarse.
MAKING
2. Add in all the ingredients to the dal and mix well! Wet your hands and make 16 portions out of this.
3. Flatten the portions and slide them to moderately hot oil! Fry until golden brown!
SERVING
4. Transfer to a Kitchen towel and Serve Hot. Tasted great with chutney or sauce.
