Basic Recipe for Chocolate Icing
A basic recipe for chocolate frosting includes milk, cream or butter, confectionerâ€™s sugar, vanilla extract and cocoa powder. Butter is melted, and cocoa powder along with vanilla extract is blended in. Milk and lastly confectionerâ€™s sugar is also added. The mix thus obtained is blended over low flame, till a smooth substance of spreadable consistency is attained.
Variation of Chocolate Icing
A popular variation of the chocolate icing is the white chocolate icing which is made by replacing cocoa with white chocolate in the basic recipe.
