Candied Fruit Topping
|Candied pineapple||1⁄2 Pound, finely chopped (1 2/3 Cups, Red And Green Colored)|
|Candied red cherries||1⁄4 Pound, finely chopped (2/3 Cup)|
|Candied orange peel||2 Ounce, finely chopped (1/3 Cup)|
|Rum||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
Mix candied fruit with rum in the top of a double boiler.
Heat, covered, over simmering water 30 minutes, stirring occasionally; cool slightly.
