Pour milk into a mixing bowl.
Chill milk and beaters from electric mixer in freezer for 45 minutes or until there are ice crystals around the top of the bowl.
Beat for one minute.
Beat for 2 more minutes as you add the sugar and vanilla.
The topping should be very stiff.
Variation Add 1/2 teaspoon almond, chocolate, maple, or rum extract in Step 3.
