Rich Butter Icing

|Butter||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Icing sugar||2 Cup (32 tbs), sifted|
|Vanilla extract||1 Teaspoon|
Thoroughly cream butter or margarine with 1 cup sugar.
Stir in unbeaten egg yolk and vanilla. Add remaining sugar and cream.
Beat to a spready consistency.
Spread on top and sides of 9-inch square cake..
