Creamy Butter Icing

Ingredients
  Butter 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), softened
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Confectioners' sugar 1 Pound
  Light cream 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Vanilla 1⁄2 Teaspoon
Directions

1. Cream butter with salt in a mixing bowl.
2. Slowly, beat in confectioners' sugar alternately with hot cream.
3. Add vanilla and beat until right consistency for spreading.
4. Add a little extra cream if icing stiffens too much while beating.
