Broiled Coconut Topping

Ingredients
  Soft butter/Regular margarine 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Light cream/Evaporated milk 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (Undiluted)
  Light brown sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), firmly packed
  Coconut 1 Cup (16 tbs) (Flaked Or Shredded)
Directions

In small bowl, combine all ingredients; mix well.
Spread evenly over top of hot 8-inch or 9-inch square cake.
Run under broiler, 4 inches from heat, 2 to 3 minutes, or until topping is bubbly and golden.
Cool cake in pan on wire rack; serve slightly warm
